on the net I do not find the differences / characteristics of the two materials in question.
I should make load cells for which the 38ncd4 is usually treated and I would like to understand if the 18ncd4 proposed by the workshop can be an upgrade.

from what I read those are workshop terms, the right designations are 18nicrmo4 and 38nicrmo4.
