3dxml - can i ask you a favor?

a client of mine has v5 (it should be 20) and all the time I try to send him 3dxml that save from sw says he can't load them.

is a manufacturer who bought catia but uses it as a viewer (it has no internal technical office) and not knowing absolutely catia and the possibility or not that there are additional packages to manage 3dxml files I don't even know what to indicate to it.

I always solve it by converting steps but, between times of conversion and heaviness of files, there was a way to solve it would be very helpful.
I have already tried to contact the sw assistance but they pack in the dark as much as I do.

I think it's a sw conversion problem in 3dxml

there are no additional packages to read 3dxml
if you carry a cathain catechin in 3dxml and then with catia open it.. It works.

@dumIf you want to send a light file, you could try with a stl file.
However, in this case, you need a specific caia license for reading/analysis and also small changes.

finestra of "cmd"
you can create a .bat file with block notes the file must have "bat" extension

in its interior write

cd\ directory name (where the files to be renamed)
rename *.3dxml *.3dxml

If you rename the 3dxlm (in case of product) in .zip, you can see the list of components from which the cpl is formed, but they are in 3drep format.
