hi to all caddisti, just enrolled I renew greeting to the beautiful and active community, please see forums still so beautiful and flourishing
So, I'm forming on rhino, which I use for work issues, I took a while because I have to train after I finished the daily work on my post.
So I would like to understand something more than confirmations.
I followed, manual rhino, tutorials level 1, and an online course (university) of great level on you tube.
I know quite well now the interface (we say I don't look for keys for hours away!:d)
but coming from the polygonal modeling, which in blender detests the curves, I do not know the topic and I have some doubts.
Thank you so much.
1. what you model with what. in polygonal there is not this problem, but here in rhino what you model with what? Are there rules to follow? a car shell for example better use curves, surfaces, or both? Are there rules for this or is "how do I find myself better"? because in tutorials I see people using curves, then complete with t-spline surfaces. Okay, but he didn't agree to use t spline directly? just a clarification as I rule to understand what to use?
2. in polygonal I have to be careful about topology. to what should I be careful modeling with curves, not to open problems? I have some trouble with concepts of tolerance and tangency, discontinuity. I read a lot of things, but I'd like someone to say, "look when you're using rhino and you're making curves, be careful about this," I don't have specific examples.
3. How should I close surfaces? Should I get them open or close? and what tool do I use to carry them to surface, surface from a series of curves? or you usually should use a precise tool.
I apologize so much, to attend forums and co-administrator, I know that a noob is a lot of puzzles boxes I hope to be able to return the favor soon.
Thank you.
