the asap project, a multiannual initiative, aims to support the development process produced in agustawestland, providing the design departments with the possibility to perform multidisciplinary simulations transversally, allowing to simulate the behaviour of the entire product. These potentials are based on a standardized approach to virtual testing and simulations, which allows you to maintain intellectual property within the company, using automated simulation procedures.
the so-called “helicopter portal” is a simulation management environment and the virtual validation process that represents one of the pillars of the entire project. the functionality of the portal allows to make the most of the best practices, engineering know-how and simulation tools already in use, allowing to integrate the various phases of validation of the product with experimentation and plm.
