analisi termica 2d- ansys wb 11

Good morning, I would like to perform a 2d thermal analysis on a model created in solid edge. the problem is that if I amount a solid 3d I can't do the analysis I want. I also tried to create geometry with the designmodeler though when after creating the sketches I generate the surface, after I can not assign more materials to the different profiles because the created surface is unique.
I attach an image to give an idea of geometry.

use design modeler, your geometry is quite simple.
the only thing you have to do is remember, when you create surfaces, to select the option "add frozen" (add blocked) and not "add material". in fact the second option combines all the surfaces that touch in one.
when you have created all the surfaces that interest you then the selections, and with the right-click selections "add new part" (create new part), so doing you will have a congruent mesh (i.e. the elements of different surfaces will share the same border knots)
