Good morning to all,
I hope to do everything right because I am not at all practical of forums.
My problem is this: I have an area (in sq m) formed by an irregular poly-linea and I must demonstrate by simple geometric calculations how much the value of the total area is. to do this I must divide the area into simple geometric figures (triangle, rectangle, trapeze), numerarle, insert the quotas and calculate the area of each single figure: the total will be the value of the entire area, all reported in a table.
My question is this: Is there an application or a command of autocad, or a software that can divide into simple geometric shapes a very complex irregular figure? and maybe calculate for each form his own area?to have the solution for this procedure would help me to shorten the times that require an analytical study of an area.
Thank you!
