ansys - first approaches and hardware tips

Good morning.
I write (as you understand from the title) to receive some basic tips to start using ansys by self-taught (at least at the beginning), specifically I would like to ask:

- hardware and s.o. recommended for ansys 2020 without spending a fortune (suppongo s.o. sia solo windows)
- tutorials and guides (would be great in Italian but I think there is not much availability)
- possibility of a school license?

I would like to start with simple things, I have experience of mesh for fem calculations and cad modeling, I am an engineer and the bases a little should know about the analytical approach, so if you can direct me a bit I would be grateful.

There is a student license https://www.ansys.com/it-it/academic/free-student-productsI used a course on udemy (not too convinced) but explains the basic concepts to shape the fem and analyze. I don't feel like recommending it 100%.

Okay, thank you. for hardware any advice?? consider that I use a laptop 7 years ago with linux ... for ansys 2020 I do not think it is right

You should take a test directly, plus you'll have to wait a few extra seconds to solve the analysis. with the student you can't make mesh too "fitte" so you shouldn't have such a performing machine.

a PC of 7 years ago means that it does not have a hardware so updated that you can have everything and immediately. ansys still spins with low requirements (with google find minimum specifications)
