hi to all, given the frequent request to create a profile from polylinee by autosez, I propose the method that I use with profit:
1- download two lisp that are complementary to autosez and are:
"joint3d" (joints two or more 3d)poly
"dtm" lisp that creates dtm models and performs some operations on the same
2- installed in the same folder of autosez (for convenience)
3- Activate Object Properties window
at this point we pass on the actual procedure
case a - triangular knitting relief performed with dtm or equivalent program:
we create our tracked polyline on the sections layer and at altitude 0, we change the point style to make it visible in the model,
we place a point (node) on each polylinea summit,
we activate the lisp dtm,
select a top and type dtmz command
we place the cursor on the node and click, the command bar will display the projected point share on the 3d face that surrounds it,
we copy and paste this zulla value box z of the point in question, we repeat the same operation for all vertices (no. if the program tells you that it cannot zoom in until you see at least one part of the 3dface),
Let us connect each summit created with at least 1 dtm summit by means of a simple line (this allows self to consider the summit in the calculation)
We explore the poly2d and perform autosez for each stroke by selecting the 3dface poly3d creation option.
upload now the joint3d lisp and join the polylines
autosez rieseguite with the cartiglio option from poly3d
b-line relief case
only difference from case to case is to manually create a 3dface with the autocad command, then follow the same procedure.
if the thing was unclear I created an explanatory video (spero)
greetings
