base "zoccolatura" in stone

Hello, everyone.
I haven't been able to find a solution.
I need to make the hoofing of a building with slate slabs approached (I attach an image to be able to clarify what I am talking about, even if it is not slate:)). I tried to make a family based on line, but when I reached a door, it doesn't "good" and the edges don't give continuity. I tried to do it with a family on a wall... but I don't know how to say that the plates have to be on the whole length of the wall.
suggestions? directions?
Thank you very much

Thanks for the lightning answer!!!:finger:
Maybe I'm wrong. ..but by making a wall sweeps... I can't count, or better buy the plates.. .
because what would interest me most would be to know how many elements are needed to "cover the perimeter.:36_1_4:

you can't count them accurately but through an abacus and a trivial formula you can get an indicative value close to reality. in the screenshot below I hypothesized that the slabs are 50 cm long, I have the length of the extrusion...the game is made. Maybe we get over to stay on the safe and get a realistic value of the number of plates that are needed (appoco).
screen.webpIf you want to do it precisely you have to operate like the builder... you put them there and put them one by one:wink:

here... yes... I was inserting them as the "builder", one by one and is a delusional work and plan of discards in the corners (as in reality).
definitely moooooooolto better as you suggested me!!! Thank you very much!!!:36_1_11:
already that there are... I tried the extrusion wall creating a profile... but I don't know how to show the "flashes" between the plates.. .
