bom annotation and cartilage compilation

Good morning to all
these days are at the grip with creation of distinct base and compilation cards in annotation.
in the various discussions already made I found this discussion (https://www.cad3d.it/forum1/threads/gestione-distinta-bom.51100/page-2#post-447976), I was very helpful and thank all those who participated because it allowed me to finally make distinct custom base, I would like to ask for an extra step if possible, use the fields that are compiled for each part (material, treatment,...) to fill in the cart. by consulting help of creo direct I understood the functioning of the text functions, and how to record a new group in the am_customize file, the last piece I can't understand is what type of text function I have to use for each category (material,treatment,etc.). I hope I've been clear.
I press that I am using separate files.lisp and distinct_browser_views.lsp of the discussion mentioned above.
Thank you in advance.

good morning to all, some delucidations:
I do not use wm or pdm.
have I noticed that the fields appear in the bfg group but do not update the values remain with the value??? I would like to use them, for example, as a reference text in the documents. I attach some pictures. I also attach the .lisp files that I use to set the fields in 3d. rest available for clarifications. Thank you.

personally I tried to make those lisp work but I never succeeded and still now I have pdm, regarding the automatic compilation of the cartiglio you need to enter the name of the reference attribute, for example description, code etc, that in jargo I believe they call them metadata, but sincerely I never put my hand and I do not know how to add metadata to the more classic ones or, weight, description etc.
Finally, as a last suggestion the few times I saw editing the cartiglio from software house technicians used me10 instead of annotation and then saved the file as "cartiglio".

Good morning kaji
Thank you for the answer. the distinct to me works regularly, compiling the fields, with the distinct button that appears below in the tool menu, for each component then I can view them in annotation (I changed the separate layout to assign all values). It would be the maximum to be able to fill in the cartilage, it would solve, the problem of having a pdm to have more fields available. Thank you.

Good evening,

provided that I don't have model manager so I have to do everything in manual saving management etc. etc., the above files work great and I tested them and also customized them to my comfortable.

Now I have a special need and I do not know if you can do: the attributes of one part can be copied (via a special command) from one side to another without having to repeat them again?

I practically manage the distinction of semi-finished by groups, so attributes of the raw material are similar to the semi-finished, so I have the double advantage to fill the cartilage with a semi-automatism, and to export the distinction automatically of the raw material.
Elenco.webpThank you in advance.

I believe when copying a part, the new one takes after default all "metadati", for example to us a macro has been made that attributes to model 3d the code of the crude from which to get it, and when you make copy also the copied part has as attribute the same code of the crude; the problem is that I don't know how to access and add these metadata, because I always had support of the cdm and did all of them, but if you also have a software house support, even if you don't have pdm, I think it might help you

Thanks for the answer. in my "work condition" (it took 5 years of threats to get only cad 3d) I can't do anything. My problem arises from the fact that I have to attribute metadata on one side to a group, so I can't just copy. Thank you very much for the answer.

Hi, I'll take this old discussion back. how did you finish the fields compiled in the bfg group?

I the file lisp loaded it once opened the 3d with a specially created button. I called it settings.

I'm telling you, I managed to do that. What I'd like to do right now is to use the descriptions in the 3d to fill out the cartilage fields, but I can't find the way.

Good evening, I'm sorry for the delay in the answer, I solved this way: I customized the board draws distinct base (e.g. iso format in my case) then I intervene with secondary interval and then select the component I want, so I can put the information where I want in the cart.
so, I do for everyone, regarding the higher groups I solved by putting the group inside another group (magari fittizio),

In fact I had also thought of such a makeup, thank you for the suggestion!
