Hello everyone I am new to the forum, I am a student of mechanical ing, I am facing a problem with fluent and I would need help. the geometry is given by two coaxial tubes, in the inner one I have air and the bc at the ends are wall to t=1073 k and diure outlet, in the outer tube I have water the bc on the two sides are mass flow inlet and diure outlet with equal flow of water.in gambit I separated the two volumes , air/water, now in fluent I have assigned for the two volumes liquid air fluids and water. what I would like to know is whether it is necessary to apply the vof model to make it understand that the two fluids are separated or just the fact that between the two there is a wall (constituent the wall of the inner tube). thanks for the suggestions.

I found in "user defined" heat exchanger model. Did someone use it and give me a hand to set it up in my problem?
