command flatten with elica

hi to everyone, sorry I looked long and wide but I find no solution to my problem.. .

I have to create a spiral path to be imported into the editor of a wooden pantograph but the program obviously reads only lines and arches, not sline.

I discovered that the flatten command, setting the variable plineconvertmode=1, smooths any design on the preset ucts by creating a polyline based on arches.

creating a propeller with 8 coils and height 0 and applying the flatten command the coil is converted to a single line.

do you have any suggestions to solve?

...sorry. . .I add another detail...I tried the same command I managed to turn the coil into arches but it seemed that it reduced the number of external turns ending with a line.

However today I can't even convert to arches... and I can't figure out what I did differently than yesterday.

I attach a test file... there is a simple 8-pire propeller with a height of about 470.
if you apply the flatten command a polylinear based on arcs... but incomplete and ending with a straight line.
if you bring the number of 3 spires is converted correctly and completely.
if you try to change height or number of edges greater than 3 or other than 8 is turned all into a line...
That's nervous. .

hi, I keep reporting the results of the evidence I did...maybe they can serve posteriors!

then, since (emptyly!) the flatten command flattens flattens and smooths only a propeller generated automatically with 3 coils, I thought that the proportions of the propeller affect the conversion for which I simply tried to change the size of the propeller in proportion to the number of coils. Well it worked!

for example if increase to 9 the number of coils and multiplication for 3 also all the size of the propeller conversion is complete.

and I already like this more...
