Hello, everyone.
a question about welding in ansys workbench.
I modeled an angle welding as a 3d body (made in solidworks) with contacts to the 2 catets that connect it to the other two bodies.
now to export the knot forces on a sdr place on the welding use the commands of the calculation.. If I carry out the forces I lugo an axis of all the volume of the soldering I are very low values about 0...while if I select the only nodal forces of one of the 2 welded faces (and not all the welded volume) I have consistent values.. How come? it is as if selecting all internal nodes cancel. .possible that depends on the fact that welding is globally balanced and the resultant of the nodal forces is nothing?
