Hello everyone, I'm trying to learn how to use ansys wb for thermofluidodynamic simulations with cfx . I wanted to create an example geometry (in solidworks) to simulate an amateur conduct internally where there flows water that is heated by a thermal flow that acts on the lower face of the conduct
the problem is that the solver immediately returns me an error and I don't understand exactly where I'm wrong even though it's almost certainly in setting cfx-pre. in another equivalent geometry, in fact, where, however, the lower fins, did not completely separate the fluid between an aletta and the other, the simulation ended without problem. simply changing geometry and repeating all the various settings in cfx-pre including:
ps: the error that returns cfx-solver is:
an error has occurred in cfx5solve: |
| |
| error interpolating results onto the new mesh: c:\program |
| files\ansys inc\v120\cfx\bin\winnt-amd64\solver-hpmpi.exe exited |
| with return code 1. on the internet, about the error, I found nothing interesting
thanks in advance for the help!

- 1 fluid domain (9 non adjacent bodies)
- 1 solid domain
- boundary condition for water entry
- water exit boundary condition
- surface boundary condition that transmits heat
- interfaccia tra solid and liquid
