controls ansys thesis reticular travailing

Hello everyone, I am a three-year-old ing.meccanica student, I miss the last exam and I started the thesis.
the thesis argument is the structural analysis of a reticular beam, where the objective function is to minimize the weight of the structure.the shape of the structure is circular of diameter 20 m and high 100m.
the professor told me to start from a simpler structure ie cylinder more cone and then optimize it.After creating all the knots and elements in batch mode,I came to the point to insert the first load condition, ie the weight of the structure and then analyze it with 10 times the own weight.at this point I stuck and I wanted to ask you for the calculation of the weight I always have to do it in the prep7 or post1 phase? Why is the etable command in the post1 to create the volume database in the prep7 a similar way to do so? You can give me some advice

I am using beam4-type elements...the structure should have the shape of a dome we say, but I did not understand if this form can be achieved by optimizing or I have to set it from the beginning...it is the first time I use ansys then apologize if I say stupid unfortunately the prof is not very available

you can plot them only when you are in post1 i.e. at a solution acquired.
should be like nforce I don't remember exactly.

But if you do anything like a leash first.
plot--results--nodal solution----
