Hi.
I have doubts about the following types of gearboxes
from what I understand
cycloid
backlash equal zero
High transmissible couples
harmonics
backlash zero
average pairs
reduced encumbrance compared to the other two
complicated to achieve
planetary
average pairs
backlash zero but with appropriate shortcomings(what? )
lower cost
but I do not see much difference between harmonics and cycloids (obviously leaving the principle of operation), while for planetariums I have always seen them use on the changes of cars or where a high performance and a error of positioning of some tenth degree
I would also like to ask which of these are mounted in modern working center with 4 or more axes (to understand the rotating bases or rotary hooks) and examples of applications if it is possible
