da catia ad ansys

Hi guys, I ask you help: I built the cad of my cat component (version v5r18) and I saved it as .stp file now, having to do a fem analysis I tried to import it into ansys (version 16.0) but there is no way to view it. I also tried to save him from catia with .igs extension but nothing. Can you propose a solution? ?
