draw spiral in draft

Hello everyone
At an illustrative level I have to draw the unrolling of a coil and instead of showing a simple circle I wanted to approximate the material states with a spiral.
for now I have invented a helical protusion in part and then acquire the edge with a sketch and copy it paste into draft.
Do you know if there's a system to draw the spirals directly into the draft?

that I know there is no parametric or automated system.
But if it is only for a simple visualization, the professor of technical education in the middle had taught us to draw a spiral with line and compact... I'm not sure if that's what you need.
Anyway, I'll give you an example.

thanks apegana for the interest. I also knew that process, but I had to simulate a roll, I wanted some pretty thick ears, and that way I would take a long time.
using the dedicated command in part I resolved quickly and all in all to devote a specific command in draft I do not know how many it can serve. :
