Hello everyone, I wanted to ask you if you know what the error message appears by opening a 2d solid edge native file indicating a compatibility error.
the text of the message is as follows: "Impossible to open the file. make sure that the file is suitable type and version and has read privileges."provided that:
> the file was always and only created and modified by the same original license;
> has not been locked in read-only on windows;
> you have all privileges as administrator (I mean on the file itself);
> the file is "available" in solid edge settings;

you have idea how you can recover it (i.e. reopen it)! ?

Thank you in advance of availability

Probably got corrupted during the rescue. Usually that's the standard error you get in two cases:

1) has been saved with a newer version of what you are using (but you exclude it)

2) the file got corrupted for some strange reason. It happened to me several times, and the only solution I found was to remake the design.

thanks for the promptness of the answer!
Unfortunately, I think your second option is the only feasible one.
Thanks again and congratulations for the site, in my opinion it is the top!

the file is corrupt, you can always contact your assistance to ask siemens to repair it and restore it. if the file is not irreparably corrupt in a couple of days you return the file as new.
