extending straight/meeting on connection already made

Sometimes it happens to me that I need the meeting point where I have made a connection.
There is a method to avoid drawing more straights or remake the chord, which if it is done after the straights, by default you will see the intersection.

to understand logic you have to do the internal tutorials that are well done. Obviously not all methods of modeling are explained, the shortcuts and various tricks, but they learn the basics of how solidworks reason.
