Good morning.
from my supplier I sent a 3d design of a heat exchanger in step 203 ap. with solidedge v18 I open it as par and the 3d design looks all ok but, left in edge toolbar you read that a part of the design is a solid metre there are hundreds of other folders marked as copy of a certain element. I want to add it to a set, only the parts first marked as a solid body I can see them, everything else disappears. Can you help me?

try one of these two roads, in order of preference:

1) open the step in an asm template instead of par.

2) if the 1 does not work, when you have inserted the file that you already have in the parent axieme, enable the display of the surfaces, which are normally hidden in solid edge.

If I open it as you see everything but as I had already said. I tried to open it asm but it only sees half components. Component icons are gray and not yellow. and I don't know how to enable surfaces . Unfortunately until a few days ago I have always worked with cocreate modelling.

I found the command and now you see everything and completely!
Now I have to try to put it in the axieme to make the layout..
