I write to ask for an opinion on the usefulness of tools such as fmea and dfmea and if you know of courses (online) also/especially
in English language you can recommend. alternatively also books that highlight practical aspects related to
mechanical design of complex systems. I ask you rather than google because you can give me an impartial opinion on the actual quality of the material.
it is some time that, after a design review and after agreeing the criticalities of the component/axieme to be inserted on the tables me
comes to think: but the fmea expert wanted us to understand that the seal is critical and we have to put a criticality on flatness, roughness etc?
These techniques are widely used, practically from all the organizations I have collaborated with, and I would like to succeed in
appreciate them, which I clearly cannot do by knowing them only at the superficial level. I read a lot of articles about it but nothing that made me clear.
