generic inventor quota 2020 problem

EPB

Guest
Good morning to all,
I have a problem with the generic quota on inventor 2020 that does not allow me to make the quota correctly.
I tried to fix it but nothing to do.
Does anyone know what the problem is?
Thank you in advance.

p.s.
Attached find the screenshot of what I mean.

once "flated" not the systems anymore, but there should be no problem if you pay attention during the initial positioning. . moving the mouse puts itself in various configurations. or do they not come out?

depends on how you want it, if you want it horizontally you have to touch the intersection point of the profiles and not the inclined profile, if you want it in the center of the round you have to touch a generic point of a circumference and not one of the four "polar" points. selected points direct the mouse vertically, should you preview. Once placed it is not editable.

In other drawing views configurations come out but when I go to measure that distance I don't know why I do this and don't go out the various configurations.
Attached I put another photo where there are the first quota plus another quota taken by selecting the same points.

I want it horizontal though if I go to select points to carry out the quota it creates this problem.
I attach the photo where there are two odds taken by selecting the same points

selections seen -> button dx -> type generic quota true or projected. play with 2 options and test

peppe lei is a genius, thank you very much
Now it doesn't make me that mistake anymore, thank you again

That's not the case.
but in particular cases, you can create a sketch where you can create a reference line, starting from tops according to desired orientation (and/or tangent to curves of interest).
what you draw on a non-printable layer.

then return to the design environment and you can easily quote the created lines.

Okay, thanks for the advice
