Hello everyone, I'm a fifth-year mechanical engineering student and I'm working on the thesis.
The subject concerns a system to measure the vibrations of the palettes in the rotors, and I would need a advice on the part related to modal analysis.
I have the model of a blade generated on ansys workbench and my purpose is to calculate tensions starting from the amplitude of the shift of the apex, which is measured with the system in question.
In the case of resonance I just consider one way of vibrating and therefore I would like to be able to impose a shift in correspondence of a knot on the apex in order to obtain the tensions.
Does anyone know how to do it?
I hope to have explained clearly
