Good morning, everyone!
I'm new and I'm ready to ask my first question!
I created on rhinoceros a 3d model of a reception, dividing it by levels depending on the materials of which it is constituted (are 4 materials, therefore 4 levels).
to import it on archicad I downloaded the add on 3d studio in, and then followed the procedure indicated: file > import 3d studio file > convert 3ds to gdl.
at the end of this procedure I will have in my embedded library the object. The problem, however, is that when I go to change the materials, there are many (about fifty!) instead of the 4 that should be there.
I would be very useful to understand how to manage importing 3ds files, if there are solutions to the problem or even alternative methods of import are all ears!
Thank you!
p.s. I have a mac, so some add on or plug in are not available!
