import project with different phases

Good evening,
I find myself having to digitally rebuild a mountain refuge, which over time has been demolished and rebuilt three times. Unfortunately, the plans referred to the first construction of the building were found while I was already making the model of the current state. In essence, two separate models were made, in which the first phase is separated from the other two. Can you tell me how I can combine the two files by distinguishing them in two stages?

there is an option to create an association between phases from one file to another. is called, in English "mapping phases". Perhaps this option can be used in this case?
