if you have received the st you are probably still in assistance, so you should contact your seller to have instructions suitable to your infrastructure.

if you do not update, you uninstall the old version and install the new one.

Alternatively, you can have multiple coexisting versions with the "multiversion" installation option.

st as the others install them on the local pc and not on the server, each pc will have installed the st version, only that the license that will edit will not be

Good question, I have no floating licenses so I don't know if there's any physical going on the server or from local you can install the license I know with a solid edge program that runs it. ask your assistance/reseller.
