I ask you because I am afraid to make a wrong purchase:
inventor 2008 pro s'install and spin the same on a stand alone workstation with win 7 to 64 bit?
if yes, do I have to request the version of inventor?
I'm not gonna make a big deal about the vault. but I just have to work in 3d with mechanical parts.
Who makes the doubt clear to me?

Thank you.

As far as I know, inventor 2008 does not work with win 7 to 64 bits.
the first 64-bit rel. is 2009.
I regret that the practice of posting several times to call attention should be avoided.

Bye.

I certainly did not want to be insistent, but it is an urgent matter that I have to swab at the moment in another way.
thank you for the suggestions, I have seen that there is no compatibility with the know that I now use.
Thanks again

hello to all, I am a technician of a small mechanical company.
due to the increase of the details in the assemblies we passed to win 7 64 bit, but after installing inv 2008 to 64 bit this gives me error when opening the files.
Can you give me a hand? Do you need a spxx?
thanks and greetings
Gabner

try to open the link two posts higher, it seems that there is no compatibility and to use win 7 you have to update inventor.

if the problem concerns complex axioms virtual machines are not a solution as they degrade performance. I tried xp mode and left it right away for cad applications.
