Good evening to all,
I have read lately this article about the textron scorpion, an American jet built for "light" purposes (if compared to f35, ef, f18 etcc).
http://www.bbc.com/future/story/20140903-low-cost-fighter-jets-take-offin the article speaks of a cost of about 20 million dollars and Russian competition (yak-130) or Chinese (jf-17) . or at least is compared in terms of cost. hit me, especially what is the cost of "consumption" (founded in another article) of $3,000/h against $18,000/h of f16.
I was wondering whether in Italy or in Europe someone produces something like that.
