I think you're both off the road. is simply the intrinsic effect of using icons and/or ribbons.
simply the user does not know which command gives, since (not reading the command line) presses the button and "that" does the quota.

Good day! my was a generic question, unpretentious and according to me with what costs me autocad, also understandable!!! I have given banally for granted that you could use a fixed layer only for quotas, automatically returning to the previous layer finished the command relative to any type of quota and I insist to say that it is not such a question out of place....regardless of how to use autocad!
Knowing your undisputed preparation I realize that you just can't do it yet...we will see in later versions! ! !

However, since we are not discussing with a cold meat, after these interventions....

Please indicate the name of the command launched.

autocad does nothing without launching a command, which happens from the All-In-One bar, from a toolbar button or directly from the command line.
Now, if you want us to come over, please indicate that command you give to "trace" your share.at the limit, after you tried, type f2 and attach a printscreen of the last 10/15 rows.

the "0" layer of default "construction" is white, which is of interest. if the "template" is meant options->am standard->iso->quote: does it but at the opening of each .dwg reappear the "green" (?). I change the macro strings one by one as suggested by gp.

Of course you reappear as before if you do not save the template or if you continue to use the previous one.
if you want to use layer 0 for building entities and quotas and then when you print have all the same lines do as well
