Hello everyone,
I created a family (.rfa) wall from the template "wall-based generic metric model".
I would now like to be able to insert it by default in my library, so that I have just opened a revit project (and not have to copy and paste all the time the wall in question in the new project).
I know that being a family "system" and not "chargeable", this is not possible through the "standard" commands.
someone knows if there is a way (example: copy rfa files. in some folder or similar) to solve this problem?
thanks to all

System families are the families inserted directly into the starting template, like the walls. they can not create as new, but change existing ones (and save them with new name).
the family of windows, is not part of this category.
the fact that you created it on a wall model, in fact means that, after uploading it to the starting template (or any project) you can insert it into the drawing only on a wall (host).
to always have it at your disposal, you need to upload it to the starting (project) template (command: family charge) and save the template. every time you use that starting template (project) you will also find the loaded window family.
this procedure applies to all families you want to have available in the starting template.
care not to load too many families, because they weigh the file. it is preferable to have essential families in the starting template, while your custom families can store them in dedicated folders, whose path you will need to bring back in the "r/option/position of files", like that of the templates (starting) created by you, which are immediately open with the command "load"
