good evening to all, I bother you to clarify some ideas about revit, in particular I would like to understand the differences between the lt version and the full. the purpose of use would be, to make bim models of products to make available to those, then, will insert them in their own projects. the models can be single or product families, in the latter case we speak of objects substantially similar but of different dimensions (for example only imagine a container available of width 100, 200 and 300 but always square 50x50).
Can anyone clarify my ideas? Thank you in advance.

for macro topics, revit lt has only creation tools for architectural discipline and something, but limited, for structural discipline. has nothing about the mep part. does not have the possibility to model conceptual masses. rendering is available only on cloud. It is not programmable, so no macro, neither addin nor dynamo. you can't work in teams with worksets. does not accept links to cloud point or coordination models. more so many small things (no filters, no change secondary elements of floors/ roofs, no assemblies etc... )

Okay, thanks for the answer, based on what you tell me then in my case it would take the full version, with that I could make the models of my elements and make them available for those who then will go to realize projects. but at this point I wonder if this is the tool suitable for the realization of these products or if you do not want something different, advice?

depends on the size you want to develop these products.
major platforms provide rvt/rfa, dwg, skp, and some archicad files.
obviously with revit you can not create objects compatible with archicad and vice versa

I believe that, once provided rvt and rfa files, for sw that manage the meta data to project according to the bim standard we should be in place, for the dwg format I can create it directly from my parametric, while for the skp I can extract it from revit. for archicad.... ;-), what do you say?
