hi to all, I wanted to ask you if there is a table showing compatibility with the various types of couplings in relation to the type of entity used. I found a table for think design and more tables for solidworks but I can't find anything for proe4. Can you help me?

Thank you very much

Hi.

I don't understand what you're asking, but knowing t3, maybe I can get there, do you need to know the shocks linked to a tolerated quota?
If yes, in proe, you must first
set standard tolls, load tolerances:
edit | setup | tol setup | standard
edit | setup | tol tables | retrieve |
and then change the parameters of the quota, visulizzando le tolerancence table
as holes / trees / general
selecting tolerance mode ( plus-minus ) you will see the deviations. . .

thanks for the answer, in fact my question is more trivial, e.g.:

ball coupling is applicable at point-by-point entity,
coincidence coupling can be used between plan and line...

In practice I am writing a bit of a comparison between think design, proe4 and solidworks, and so I was trying to figure out if there is a table showing that entities can be used with the types of coupling (e.g. rigid ones).

Hi.

in the manual there are all the references you ask
try with the help online
Hello unfortunately I use an academic version at the university and I have nothing but the guide on which to rely, can you tell me where I can find this table? in the guide I find the description of the various types of constraints and nothing else.

Hi.

Sorry if I ask you a question.
you are making a comparison table between various cad systems.
but do you know them all at the same level?
Can I ask you what you're doing this job?
It's not to answer but just my curiosity!
Hi.

it is quiet, in practice I am making a sort of benchmark among the three programs from the point of view of a person who has no practice with such environments (novice): in a nutshell a company would like to move from the 2d design system to a 3d system, for them it is an important thing because they would like to exploit the advantages that this solution implies (eg fem analysis or kinetodynamics). I personally have a "didactic" experience with proe3 at the basic level, the other software I did not know them minimally, but within two months I managed (thanks also to your help) to model a typical product of that company with relative puts on the table. So now I'm writing a report on my experience. It is obvious that knowing the environments can be fully exploited (and maybe finding that something extra that they offer), but being a "university" thing is good enough, at least I've had some experience with other software, it can always be useful:-)

I am writing about the way of assembly and I liked to insert a table of this kind since for the other two programmes I found it ;-)

Hi.

Hello aerox,
Axiemi constraints table only saw it on the course manual,
on the help you should have, too, ( help! help center )
find all information about what you are looking for.

I did a print of the bonds together,
but there are so many other things...

I add a list of info on positioning constraints in addition to the constraints of cinematics

Hello, guys.

I set the following parameters from config menu:
tolerance
tolerance_standard iso
tolerance_table_dir c:\program files\ptc\creo 2.0\common files\m050\tol_tables\iso

However if I click on a quota do not appear the mating options tree/hole

How can I do that?

Thank you.

on creo?

put an image of how it proposes the "properties" tab of a quota.
just by the office I send you, but everything remains identical to the default. Do I have to put settings on the configuration even on the drawing setup?

si the tol display is active

from the drop-down menu I see only the classic nominal, plus, minus etc... but no hole and shaft1.webp2.webp

even if active tol_display by the drop-down menu does not change. I have the academic version so I shouldn't have any limitations

also check on the .pro file to have the tol_display option on "yes".

other I do not have on tolerances as setting.
