Good morning, everyone. I am new to this forum that I find very useful and has helped me several times.
I would like to model in ansys 14.5 a prefabricated panel in insulation cls.
I believe that the best solution is to use solid65 for layers in cls and brick185 for the insulating intermediate layer. Am I wrong?
As for connectors I would use a beam element or link.
I have two problems: how can I model the electro-welded mesh in the concrete? is it sufficient to use the rebar option of solid65?
and then: I can't define the contact between the various layers. I'm trying with contact pair, but it doesn't work.
I would also like to insert connectors between one layer and another of cls, what do you recommend?
