hello to all, I am doing an analysis of a masonry ediphus with ansys workbench and I would like to consider masonry as a solid able to crack. I'm doing some tests to see how this solid works and I'm experiencing some problems.
my model comes to convergence when I define as “solid65” a single wall panel, while it returns error when I try to analyze a more complex system (as can be the time displayable in the attached image).
the specific error is of this type:“element type 7 is not the same shape as solid65. switching to a different shape is not allowed while elements of type 7 exist."
qualcuno saprebbe dirmi perchè mi restituisce questo errore? but, above all, to take into consideration the festiveness I have to define solids as “solid65”? or just define a material with a fracture criterion and let ansys decide the type of solid?
thanks in advance to those who will answer me
