hi to all, I would have the need to transform more than 100 files in dwg 2018 format in dwg 2010 how can I do?
I usually use draftsign 2018 to open 2018 and then save in 2010, but I have to open move and use save by name (save does not work) with 3 or 4 drawings you can do, with more than 100 is infinite ...

How can I do that?

once transformed in 2010 I should also print them all in pdf ... what would you suggest?

thanks in advance :)

A script to save does not work?
hi massivonweizen, a script would be perfect, but:1) Can't use my 2010 autocad to launch the script that opens 2018 and saves in 2010, or am I wrong?
2) where do I find the list of commands and options of each command so as not to miss writing and getting what I expect?
How would you do that?

you can also check if trueview (free autodesk) allows you to make batch conversions. conversion to previous formats is sure that the face, but I don't remember if it has a batch function (but being voted to only conversion and display is easy to have it)

Just tried the sequence I suggested and works.
in management > system options > open and save imposed as 2010 format
So, I repeat it (use the script generator)
Open the door
file name
save
Shut up!

discharges design review from the autodesk site (it is free).
then enter the list of files you want to convert and in what version, just a handful of clicks and you are finished.

hi, regarding dwg- dwg I can recommend "teigha file converter" very valid opensource software. to use in the following way:

- create a starting folder,
- copy all the files to be converted,
- create a destination folder,
- click on the conversion button and get the magic.

for the dwg- pdf passage I have no quick solutions suitable for your situation (100 files). Bye-bye

Why open multiple threads? I answered you on the other.
Hello Massivonweizen, I had also opened on draftsign because I have acad and ds while my colleague only has draftsign and we wanted to find a "universal" method to transform, draftsign free would be perfect because we both have it and did not force us to "disturbarci" each other. :-)

ps: for draftsign we did not find solution ... :(

attention that in the script with draftsight should not be used the command open but _smartopen

for batch printing I tried the autocad 11 batch but it does not work as I see in the various video tutorials, to solve I used "printconductor" https://www.print-conductor.com/download excellent, free, only flaw does not have the automatic recognition of the orientation therefore come out pdf all horizontal or vertical.
