hello to all, we are planning a tool consisting of two plates with a water cooling circuit inside them.it will be necessary to put an oring in viton due to the working temperature of the tool but as the circuit is of rectangular shape it will be necessary to buy a seal on our specific design. the dimensions are about 250x150 s5.
I also ask you whether it is difficult to make it custom-made only for 2 or 3 pieces we need.
Some colleagues suggested that I use the motorseal but there are several opinions including those who say it is a pigeon in case of maintenance or other need.

In special applications, I can tell you that we buy the 10 meters long o-ring rope that can also build it to size or find it advancing. ask the dealer or manufacturer what is the best adhesive and you get the rope in your head.
This way you can do oring from any development.
other idea is if you find longer oring but ring, cut them and joint them with special glue.

Of course using the "cursed plate" or the "black plate" can be a fast solution that fits everything but over time could deteriorate if the liquid digs.

I doubt that a manufacturer of seals will only print 2-3 pieces, unless you make the stamps pay, but then the cost becomes prohibitive. . .
Have you thought about the "gasket kits" around?
