open file *.easm

Hello everyone

after the due presentation in the dedicated section, I am asking here my first question:

I have files with *.easm extension and I would need to open them and convert them to *.stp and then be able to see and analyze them with if.

Does anyone know what files they are? and to whom can I turn for conversion? I also contacted the assistance of if but report that opening *.easm files is not in the features of if.

refer to me being files that solidworks 2005 and catia v5 (and its previous versions) would be able to open without problems, can anyone confirm?

solidworks Believe ma non Open the door, easm files and then it would depend on the version they are created.
an edrawing file (this is) created with the 2016 version will not be openable with the viewer (free of charge from the solidworks website) of 2005.

edrawings files are created to be consulted and in fact do not contain geometry but only "cuts" useful only for video representation.

this also to avoid easy "copyings" of proprietary designs as well as for file size.
