parameterize and fly quotas from excel

Good day to all,

First of all I have to do, then make specific requests. I have to model, for format changes, of the pariculators whose quotas are all according to the diameter of the main component. for parameterization I learned how to do it, and also to fly a single part with a single respective excel sheet.
But what I would like to do is the following:

1) parameterize the individual pieces, which will act as starting models, making sure that everyone has the same variable "dm" that drives all other odds;

2)create a single excel sheet, which can fly all the parts I have to accomplish, making sure that a certain cell is linked to the "dm" variable in each model.

3)create a button on the excel sheet which, once opened solidworks, allows the generation of a copy of each starting model already updated with the modified quotas, and save each piece in a given folder.

Is someone able to write me the commands to do this, or direct me to some site or guide?

Thank you very much

What you want to do is a small configurator. Are you sure you don't agree to test driveworks express included in your swx license? oops, I see now "swx2006", confirm? or do you have one more recent?

no no no now in the company we passed to 2008

You could spy on me more about driveworks and how you should do... Forgive me but I never used it:frown:

Thank you.

I never used it either. I saw it at the 2008 demo and I know it's a not too sophisticated configurator. on use I don't know how to give you info. However what you want to do is a configurator and at this point....
