hi to all, I usually use if v.20 only that I would have at this point the need to convert dft files in pdf files since I have to bring them to print in copisteria. Now: in my if there is "save as pdf" among the options "save as". the converters I found on the net give me these problems: or convert the design using the same thickness for all lines or carry the "shareware version" or similar things on the table. I tried to convert them into autocad and then convert them to pdf but it does not recognize me the different thickness.
What do I do? Am I going to let me bless you?:confused:

thanks in advance

to print from if I think you should install the "velocity printer" from the installation cd of if.

I still use pdfcreator that associated with the powertoys of jason newell allows me to print entire "almost" directory in batch. The only problem is that the a0s are systematically printed by switching short and long side, so I feel like hand-held.
recognizes perfectly thicknesses and colors and does not show algun logo or written.

I installed the pdfcreator that you suggested to me, but the program seems not to recognize me the .dft format to perform the conversion. How do you do that?

It's a virtual printer.

from solid edge file menu:

file--print-->choose the printer pdfcreator--> options: fog format, orientation, etc.-->ok.

at this point part the pdf file rescue procedure (it will ask you file name, saycotry, etc.).

Done! the thicknesses seem well diversified, except for the section lines that look very similar to those "grosses".
I'll go to the press tomorrow and see what comes out of it.
for the moment many thanks!!!:finger:

hunter,
I hook up with this post to ask you, since I also have installed the software you talk about, but I can't associate a 'other printer to "slave" the entire directory the dft files in pdf, help me? :finger:

.... the only problem the a0s are systematically printed by switching short and long side, so it touches me all by hand.. .

uso anche io i power toys però con bullzip ( www.bullzip.com ), and the a0s come out right, try it, I prefer it to pdfcreator that I used earlier and that I don't seem to have trouble with the a0.
Bye.
