performance st4 compared to st2

in the company we have several workstations with xp that still use st2 with sp12.
gradually we will replace them with 64-bit win7 and to do this I should install the st4 that is certified for both platforms. my doubt is whether the st4 will greatly worsen the performance of workstations with xp or if it weighs like st2.

already from st4 and even more with st5 many areas have been optimized to better exploit modern architectures.
you will then notice a gradual increase you performance.

the intention is just this one that, in a first phase, we must also maintain xp where st6 is not installable. what I'm interested in is that st4 does not further slow workstations with xp, which today have st2, until we replace them.
