Hello to all guys, I'm new here, I'm a student who has just started using solid edge, in fact I have a "small problem" that though I'm being damned, I don't know why I can draw only on the xy plane, and I can't create perpendicular lines to this plan, I know it may seem silly but it's two hours I don't know what to do, I hope you know how to help me.

from how you decrypt the problem you are creating a " 2d scrap" and consequently you can draw only on the selected plane.
the other lines you will have to create them coming out of the sketch and creating a new one on an appropriate plan.

or you can create a 3d sketch and draw in space. (schizzo 3d is available from st7 onwards)

I highly recommend you to do the tutorials and read the help before you start, because if you have to ask here on the forum how you get out of the sketch or other questions like that you don't pass anymore and to draw a cube you put a week.
Meanwhile learn a minimum of abc of the program to be autonomous for the use of basic functions, so you can ask for advice on more complex issues having the opportunity to follow the indications that come from time to time given.
