Good evening to all,
I am a novice of solidworks and I ask you immediately a question regarding static analysis on polymer materials, in particular I have two questions:
I am at the first weapons for which I will certainly not have looked well everywhere, for now I found that I can set Viscoelastic behavior on the material and then insert parameters for the wlf curve, relaxation modules etc...
then I thought about non-linear analysis, but no one asks me the change in time and, only of force.. .
maybe just enter the data into the material and he gets them with time-temperature equivalence, but I wanted an opinion of who is more experienced...maybe if you have a tutorial or something.. .
Thank you very much
I am a novice of solidworks and I ask you immediately a question regarding static analysis on polymer materials, in particular I have two questions:
- First of all I wanted to understand what kind of simulation I have to start (and how I have to set it up) if I use materials to a t where they have viscoelastic behaviour and therefore creep, e.g. at room temperature. . .
- I would also like to know if you can implement new failure criteria to cover polymer materials with shear bands(raghava, bowden or bauwens)
