phenix project was launched in 2007 with the aim of harmonizing and standardizing the methods, processes and tools associated with plm (product lifecycle management) in all divisions of the company. eads intend to use unified plm software to streamline workflows, market products faster and lower production costs. the trans-national development center of eads innovation works has developed and implemented procedures for cae simulations along with eads divisions within the simulation task force of phenix. msc.software ealu and md nastran system have been selected for their flexibility and versatility in applications and standardization of software tools. the use of simxpert as a pre and postprocessing tool is currently in a test phase.
