- the control of interference, common problem in many assembly, is made much easier and flexible, allowing you to save time and increase the accuracy of the model.
- the expansion of segment-to-segment contact to multiphysical analysis allows to achieve more homogeneous results and therefore to have greater accuracy in many applications in different industrial applications.
- the new model of bergström-boyce can be used to accurately simulate the viscoelastic behaviour of hyperelastic materials with great deformations in the domain of time. This model can be combined with damage models to accurately represent the material that is often observed in elastomers. this allows to improve applications on penumatics, seals and elastomeric bearings.
- Viscoelastic material properties in harmonic analysis can be used to calculate stiffness and damping according to frequency and are supported for linear and hyperelastic elastic materials.
