I'm doing the fling 10 tutorial, it talks about a compressor, where in the inlet there is a relative pressure of 200 pa. the operating pressure is worth 101325 pa. There are no thermal exchanges of any kind. in inlet you set a pressure inlet with the pressure gauge of 200 pa, while the outlet and a pressure outlet! the fluid material is air with constant density 1,225 kg/m^3.
But you're not making a mistake? those 200 pa are used only to advance the flow and not to calculate the density seen, this given by the fact that fluent calculates the density as rho=(p-operating)/(rxt), and p operating has been set to 101325 pa!
Now if I want the correct density but at the same time to advance the flow with those 200 pa it is right that instead of putting the density the put as compressible ideal gas, then put the pressure operating as 101325+200, and in addition I add 200 pa also in the gauge pressure in the pressure inlet!
