raspberry pi, to be used as a control unit

Hi, I'm not so expert on the subject so I'd be happy if someone could help me: I should build a car with 4 hydraulic cylinders. Can I use a raspberry pi to implement the various cylinders? or do I need some other kind of electronic control? thanks in advance.

the pins of raspberry pi are to 3.3v and 5ve and arrive at maximum to 50 but.
It is therefore necessary to check whether the cylinders are activated with such values.

for that kind of application is much more suitable than an arduino.

raspberry is practically a small computer has the advantage of having a lot more processing power but it leads behind the disadvantages of computers, startup time a few minutes, complex operating system, legacy for peripheral monitors and more.

arduino invce is a little more than a bare and raw chip, the boot time is instantaneous, has many more inputs/outputs of raspberry, the core software is very simple and stable


Recently a "industrial" version of arduino that is called control ( www.controllino.cc ) and has a minimum of certifications (en 61010-1 en 61010-2 iec 60073 ) which instead do not have the bare boards arduino or raspberry
