Greetings to all.
Premetto I use ansys r.18.1. I have the following problem.
My set consists of 4 parts (solid), whose contact surfaces are shown in green in the fig. 1. when I carry the geometric pattern from spaceclaim a mechanical I would like the following:
1) contact surfaces must be automatically recognised in mechanical.
2) the mesh of the axieme must be conformed (the incidence of knots at the contact surfaces).
I made the following attempts:
(a) if I do the imprint in spaceclaim without using the shared topology, contact surfaces are recognized correctly (v. fig. 2), but the axieme mesh does not conform (v. fig. 3).
(b) se faccio lo shared topology in spaceclaim without the imprint, the mesh of the axieme is compliant, but the contact surfaces are absolutely not recognized (v. fig. 4).
(c) if I do both the imprint, and the shared topology in spaceclaim, I get the same results as the case (b).
then in summary:case imprint shared topology recognition sup. contact mesh compliant figures to see
(a_
(b_
(c_
in case (a) I used the contact match tool in mechanical to make mesh compliant, but the thing did not go good for a couple of contact surfaces.
How can I solve the problem?
Thank you in advance how many will give an answer.
