hi to all boys, I made a project, a rolex daytona, now I was dabbling in rendering but I can't in any way bring the shiny steel/aluminum strap surfaces, I tried with both materials but nothing, the strap shirts always look like opaque', I also played a little with the lights and scenography but I can't come to the end, I attach a photo to understand it better

rendering is done with photoworks (until 2011) or photoview (2012 onwards)
If you want to play with solid graphics, you need to activate realview graphics.
a hint of presentation would not be a bad thing

sure that in the image is a rendering made with photoview 360

some discussions about photoview management

if you want optimal results I would tell you to use solidworks visualize instead of the integral in solidworks.
less defeat for a more "real" surrender.
then it is anyway de gustobus.

even when I wanted a more pushed rendering I used visualize, which is included in the premium version of solidworks

@guiz89, but what do you write to do if you leave the discussion?
Hello.
I don't know if it's the right section and I hope so.... I join the theme "solidworks visualize professional 2020"
I just bought it to try to improve some stages of work.
Waiting to participate in the course dedicated to local dealer, can you recommend me some tutorials/list instructions to begin taking confidence?
Thank you.

try to see if inside the program you find something
find several videos on youtube, but not knowing the software I don't know if they are good or not
I also found this page which seems to be helpful

being the argument inherent to your question I would say that you are in place, except to make the quota of my sentence that has nothing to do with it.

thank you...on youtube are all tutorials to spot disconnected unfortunately.
I was looking for an infomative "back" with general overview.
the software is intuitive but up to a certain point.
