Hello everyone,
I ask you for help on this question.
in the specific company I installed on the server 4 fleeting licenses and all this well, when however a colleague book the license for 1-2 days and has the need to release it in advance regarding the expiry I do not know how to act.

I found an article in ptc support (article - cs31332), but in fact it does not release it.

• to return the borrow license early

  • open command prompt with administrator privileges
  • change the default path of command prompt
    • for creo parametric : “<creo directory="" install="">\common files\mxxx\x86e_win64\obj”</creo>
    • for pro/engineer and creo elements/pro wildfire 5.0: “< pro/engineer install directory>\x86e_win64\obj”
  • use the following syntax to return license:

lmutil lmborrow -return -c <port@servername> <license feature="" name=""></license></port@servername>

Do you have any solutions?

on these things it is better to feel ptc assistance, there are many implications for the license manager, even solutions found on the net, may not be usable with your business configuration.

Here's the problem, you may need an update of the license manager, or some kind of license, all things that without assistance, are not easy to understand the implications, if wrong, you risk planting everything.
